Watched another brutal intentional targeting of a QB’s head today. Big games involving big teams. The penalty for intentionally targeting a QB (it’s obvious when it’s intentional) should be a 5 games suspension and a 100k fine (these guys are now paid big bucks and can afford it). These DBs/LBs are ruthless and know exactly what they are doing. It can both end a career and bring lifetime disability. USC ended the season/health of Oregon’s QB this year and the Washington DB today was intent on seriously injuring the opposing QB. The Miami thug could have ended Mendoza career 2 years ago (and the replay morons actually reversed the targeting call on the field…..perhaps because if they upheald the call Cal could have run out the clock). This must stop. But likely the ncaa will continue to hide in the corner afraid to do what’s right.
If it's any consolation to my fellow Golden Bear fans, in my fantasy life the Bears are 7-2 with an excellent shot at the ACC title game. Miraculously no Cal players have missed game time due to injury. Furd and U$C have a win apiece. Also I'm dating a super model and my wife doesn't mind. Lastly there was a Blue Wave On Tuesday....oh wait, that one's real.

ah, how relaxing....semi rooting for fUCLA as a Pac12 veteran, but would be happy to see them go down just the same. Some great games today!
It is relaxing to watch with relative equanimity...which reminds me to sign of WFC and get back to Cal out of mind, mindset.
