Just like school. We will evaluate you once the homework assignment is done. Win the championship, not just the ACC championship. And like we tell our kids dream big or go home.

What happened to Bloesch? It was a weird non-fire and I haven't seen anything since.

Cal didn't make an announcement of the coaches who left. Toler, Thompson, and Watson were announced by the schools they went to, but Cal didn't officially announce it. So I think Bloesch and Gilbert were not retained and haven't found a new job yet.

Rather than fire these coaches publicly, JW gave them chances to leave and sign up elsewhere. Classy move by JW.

We lost some valuable coaches, like Toler, and also some bad ones. The fact that those who were bad haven't found new jobs may be indicative of something.

Also, letting the contract run out is better than firing coaches.

Being a coach does not seem easy, and if the team does not perform this year, it should be JW last year.
