It’s now the final week of fall camp for the California Golden Bears. Some battles are finally settling down, others rage on, and lineups continue to be tinkered with. A laundry list of Golden Bears are currently dinged up, leaving reps up for grabs as Cal hits the home stretch before their opener against UC Davis.

Play of the Day: Nohl Williams secures an interception with an impressive feat of athleticism by contorting his body on the sideline during an 11 on 11 session, his second pick of the day.

• Fernando Mendoza had his best day under center in quite some time. He was hitting receivers in stride, notably Mavin Anderson and Trond Grizzell.

  • Notably, Mendoza was finishing drives early in 7 on 7 and 11 on 11 session, something Justin Wilcox harped on at the end of Sunday’s practice.
