Phrase of the Day: Defense wins championships

With Fall Camp coming to a close on Saturday, some key points have still to be addressed and decisions made regarding some key positions. The one part of the ball that does not have any issues as of Thursday is the defense. The defense has been stellar all week and separated themselves a little bit today with multiple havoc plays from tackles for loss to sacks to interceptions to pass breakups. Every level of the defense was locked in, and every member from the 1s to the 3s was engaged all of practice.

Play of the Day: Today it was more playS of the day than play of the day. The defense was stellar off the line of scrimmage. David Reese had a pass breakup in the backfield and also a strip sack as well.
