With a few guys nursing some day-to-day injuries, the first day of full pads got to off some of the impressive depth that was built through the recruiting class and portal this offseason. WR Trevor Rogers, OLB Serigne Tounkara, OLB Cheikhsaliou Fall, DB Marcus Scott II, DL RJ Stephens, and OLB Ryan McCulloch all had a stand out play during the play the game periods
Play of the Day: OLB David Reese exploded into the backfield and jumped into the route to the RB, batting down the ball. If the ball was thrown a little higher he may have gotten an interception, but Reese got vertical so quick that the ball was batted down around his torso. Athletically very impressive play.
