If yesterday’s practice was all about speed, today was all about putting that speed to work in explosive plays. Multiple skill position players broke off long gains during the team and 7s periods. Standouts included the likes of Byron Cardwell, Trevor Rogers, Mikey Matthews, Jonathon Brady and Tobias Merriweather. The Bears offense was rolling today and it’ll be interesting to see what the install-completed offense looks like in a few weeks.
Play of the Day: WR Trevor Rogers had two very explosive plays. One was on a long ball for about 55+ yards, where he adjusted his body to come back to the ball a bit and haul in a pass over a defender. The second was for about 25+ yards and was an easy completion after a stellar release off the line gave him all of the space he needed to complete his route.
