What a home run coaching hire. Partner-level help on a junior associate budget.

Also, I will try my best to ignore the fact that his son quarterbacked Stanfurd to a Big Game victory in 2016.

The fact that he has coached TE's in Musgrave's system is YUGE! Great hire. College kids love being coached by ex pro players and coaches.

Dare I say it again? In Wilcox I trusted, and in Wilcox my trust is rewarded. Serious chops as a coach. What high school TE isn't going to want to play for him? Where are you going to go to find a college TE coach with better credentials? Can't wait to see what he can do with our young studs. He and Musgrave are a unit, so that helps too. Go Bears!

I disagree.

Calbears official website has more detailed resume of his work history than wikipedia.

But we all know about his son's, especially the one at Stanfurd.

Probably an unknown since the last time he coached college ball was 1990(?) I think any coach with his Pro CV's has an easier time getting in the door with kids. And with two college age boys, my guess is he knows what's up and how to connect with them.
