Watching that game, I think you should have used FCS game analysis, because except for Mr. Lopa, that was not an FBS-caliber game. 'Cuse just wanted to lose more than Cal... If the GBs don't score 50+ this Saturday, our O and season is in big trouble..
Surely the Wagnerverse has done similar analysis on its most recent losses and knows the DB who will run back 6 pick sixes to upset Cal and kill us forever. Because, well f&%* what else could go wrong. Which is all to say, only WFC could do such amazing post-game analysis! Thank you.
They beat themselves just about everyway they could. Kingston Lopa and the defense made them pay for their mistakes. Which is good, because the offense sure a heck didn't.
Syracuse dominated the stat sheet in raw yardage and possession. Thankfully, they handed the game over with lots of sloppy play, turnover trouble, special teams issues, and red-zone inefficiency. And Cal kept tons of pressure on their QB.

While I enjoy the nerdy analysis, my take was that Syracuse "pulled a Cal" reversing the script and imploding, as we typically do at the end of a game. I'll take the win, however improbably, b/c that's what being a long-time Bear fan is all about. Unfortunately.
I love when other teams "Cal" while playing Cal. Because we are all psychologically scarred for life. I mean if we beat Miami, what is the trajectory? Too painful? I know.

Utah dominated time of possession but Cal had so many explosives to negate it, so on paper it was actually closer than expected.
