Fortunately Isaiah Crosby has announced he's returning.

Great get. But it sucks that some players need to feel the pressure to hit the portal before their team is even finished playing for a championship. (Even if they are backups, they could be needed) NCAA needs to fix this, and schools need to make an exception for athletes to enroll late in the spring semester.

the bowl game period is way too long with some days with only 1 or 2 games. I would argue they won't really cannibalize viewers, I mean no one is watching the small bowl games except those teams and maybe that specific conference.

they need ot move the games up, make the time period compact so we are done with all the games before new years.

This reminds me of Shaq Thompson in many ways. Nice to see Crosby recommitted on the same day, presumably they're both cool with playing together. Then add in Manutai presumably staying and that seems like a solid set of safeties.

Heartening to see both a highly rated a defensive and offensive player in the door.

lol not settling? We’ve brought in a good w/0 and some players whom were not impactful i know we want tosh to be successful but that statement felt like a oversell

Fantastic! Love it when a defender is big enough to win a 50/50 ball. Welcome to Cal!

BTW this dude is 6'5" and also played received in HS and was a dangerous red zone receiver.

Maybe have him play in some red zone packages?

Can't expect DeJesus to jump over people all the time.

Cal is ideally placed to reel in more Oregon defensive players. In addition to playing for Tosh, he brought a lot of the assistants that they worked with to Cal. On top of that, a LOT of both the players and coaches are Californians, many of them Northern Californians.

why is there such a big discrepancy between 247 and On3 rankings? (Not that it matters but it's consistent that 247 ranks are seemingly inflated compared to On3...)

A couple things; this shows that guys who were coached by Tosh want to play for Tosh, which is a good sign (and something we assumed given his reputation). Also, if we’re winning recruiting battles which aren’t JUST coming down to paying more $ (assuming ND has a bank account to match our offer for receiver Strong?) then he’s hitting coaches who are good recruiters, too, which is one of his known strengths. This is all moving on the right direction, but as a sunshine pumper I’m trying not to get out over my skis w excitement ……trying….
