OT: and so it begins (again) Cal Women's soccer has cancelled its last 2 games (including today's rematch w/ Santa Clara) due to COVID concerns. May be just a matter of time before Pac12 football teams have the same issue. Let's hope not for the sake of the health of all these student athletes.
Taking deep shots and hitting some of them is good. Taking them on 3rd and 2 and 3rd and 4 when we planned to punt on 4th and 2 and 4th and 4 very likely cost us the game.
Especially after getting the delay of game penalty on the first one. I mean I can kind of see (maybe?) being in an aggressive mindset and going after the points, but once you get the penalty, just kick it!
