What I think I love most about this is the contrast to the lackadaisical way in which the rollout of fall camp was handled in the past. This is but another example of showing that ALL the details matter in a winning program. All.

This is definitely a welcome change from the JW era, the team and coaches are way more prepared to compete and win in the new era of NCAA football. Tosh is really on point and I'm glad Rolo is providing continuity and the Hawaii connection.

This is exactly the way a professional college program needs to present itself on media day. The whole tone of the Cal football program has changed under Tosh and RR, all for the better, with careful attention to every detail. We are now one month out from the UCLA game on September 5. Fall camp could not be more important to focus on making this new team's debut the best that it can possibly be. You can bet UCLA will be doing everything it can to spoil Cal's first home game under the new regime, so it is imperative that the team be ready to serve up a powerful result indicating that Cal will be a team to reckon with going forward into the season. I am hopeful that the result will be to send offensive and defensive coordinators all over the ACC scurrying to their play books to figure out how they are going to stop the onslaught represented by this new edition of the Cal Bears. Roll On!

Feels like we're doing everything necessary to meet the moment. Everything has a professional aura about it. Only thing remaining is to win games on the field. Demolishing UCLA would be the perfect way to announce our arrival.

The dude is so intense. I would not want to get on his bad side ;-)... He looks like a lion about to attack. Or better yet, for those who remember the 1980's he has - THE EYE OF THE TIGER! At the very least, the Bears will be focused.
