Cal Football Lands Four-Star Commitment in Basha OL DaJohn Yarborough
The California Golden Bears continue to land major commitments deep into the summer.
Another major commitment this weekend for the California Golden Bears! Enter Chandler (Az.) Basha offensive lineman DaJohn Yarborough, who put on the Bear hat in his announcement ceremony this weekend.
Yarborough is ranked as the 25th best interior offensive lineman and 9th best Arizona prospect according to 247Sports Composite. Also in the hunt were Mississippi State, Florida State, and Washington. At 6-5 and 340 pounds, Yarborough is the type of interior lineman Cal has been needing for the longest time to generate power in the middle.
Yarborough is the fourth offensive line commitment in this class, joining Isaiah Bertola, Ace Herman-Dawson, and Joshua Bunni. His Hudl tape is available here.
This commitment keeps Cal on the edge of a top 20 class, which would be their highest ranking in nearly a decade and their first top 25 class in 15 years.

Another really big O lineman to protect the QB and open up holes for the RBs. I cannot remember when Cal had a recruiting machine like Tosh has installed. It can only help the program and as it becomes successful, will attract even more great players to sign up to play for Cal.
