I see references to Coach Anae here; has he been retained? Is there a list of the new coaching staff somewhere? Othere than Rolo are there other retentions? What vacancies still exist to be filled?
That's what I've seen as well. I believe I've seen recruits also tag Anae. Bear Insider also has him listed as a coach along with all the new hires. And Cal is still in his X profile.
I don't know what his contract looks like (probably year-to-year). But he might be in negotiations to stay. Not sure if other programs are approaching him. Literally not finding any information.
My question was motivated in part when I noticed that LaJuan Owens who came over from New Mexico with Anae as a highly regarded pass blocker is in the portal.
Coaches with local history recruiting local talent. Darn good long term plan. Go get all of them. Maybe, just maybe, this approach reduces the high turnover created by the portal. Go Bears!
Love that most of the coaches are young and enthusiastic. More like coming to play for your cool older brothers than a paternal tyrant. As somebody who has done some recruiting, I can tell you from experience that this approach will have some appeal.

There's no official announcement other than departures of certaincoaches and retaining of Rolo.
