I look for Moore to take over the starting RB spot from Brown to start the season. Brown did not show much in the shortened season. Also, if Cal is to duplicate what the 2018 defense accomplished, then Deng needs to dramatically improve his open field tackling skills. I am guessing that is the main reason he returned instead of opting for the NFL.
Love these articles, super helpful to get a feel for how the practices and scrimmages are going. I would appreciate more sharing of the "not so good" stuff as well as I feel like these type of articles are always super promising, everything sounding up and up and every young player seemingly the next big thing, when we know that's not always the case. :) thanks again!
Really looking forward to the scrimmage and seeing some of the young guys. Yes, it's a glorified practice but we'll be able to see all four qb's in action.

I also hope we can avoid injuries on what will be the last day of spring contact drills...

The 100 vanilla plays will be sprinkled with chocolate shavings....considering its going to be the first live spring Cal game, I will have seen.
