I'm happy for all the 5th/6th year players who got into grad school and staying with Cal. I know it's been difficult to retain those players recently due to various reasons whether they were players' choice or not.
Seeing that Brett bulked up but still has a visible six pack and trim belly speaks to it being "good" weight. That's strength, on a guy whose already a beast. If the Bears bulk up in strength and weight while being stronger and fitter, as Coach says, then awesome. Bigger guys beat smaller guys in the trenches. Excited to see what Brett and Deng and Goode and the rest can do this year.
That's over 100+ players. When you consider players like Paster put on a solid 15 lbs. its good news. And just look at that photo of Brett Johnson. He's a flipping animal. Can you say JJ Watt Jr?
I like seeing Wilcox holding the ball high, with two hands, just like Tedford would want it.
high on the shelf! (although I believe Tedford doesn't teach that anymore)

No kidding. He was a champion wrestler in high school. That kid is a beast. I predict he'll be playing on Sundays.
Me too. He may not be quite Cam Jordan yet, but he'll find a spot on a roster. As he gets man strength, he'll be a true force.
647 lbs. is a lot. Also, good to see that we may have more options at wide receiver next season.
That's nothing. Bear 747 tipped the scales at 1500+ pounds last fall!
