Nice! Need improved production out of the DL.

This is a great pickup making up for the loss of our edge LB's. I feel we'll be stronger there next year. Now pickup a couple more ILB's and DB's. I'm becoming more optimistic daily. Already renewed my season tickets and parking. GO BEARS

I have my tickets too. We moved to the west side this season to be near the team and to maybe reduce the scream decibel level from the micmen this season. After fifteen years next to the student section, we decided to make the switch. Go Bears!

Perfect time for a switch...anything to wash the past out of the mix.

I can't imagine how much work Tosh has done since he got hired. This guy seems tireless. Great work and thank you for bringing the enthusiasm and excitement, hopefully a new era of Cal football!

Exactly, the dude lives Cal football, doesn't sleep, total start-up mode. Wilcox was competent, but more like an old-school Ford executive, like Lee Iacocca, whereas Tosh is more aggressive, intense, and competitive, like Steve Ballmer.

Makes you wonder what was Wilcox doing all these 9 years.

In his defense, he definitely didn't have the money that tosh gets to play with. But at the same time, he couldn't whip up the same type of frenzy that Tosh does to get people to donate.

Good point and he is supposed to be a defense oriented coach. For the past five years, Cal has had lots of talent at defensive back but not much on the line of scrimmage. It's one of the reasons that we have had so many close wins and losses.

I saw that Aidan Keanaaina is in the portal. I didn't think he had any eligibility, but it might be good to retain him for depth
