Cal Football Lands Explosive Receiver in Ohio's Chase Hendricks
Hendricks comes in after a year where he was Top 20 in receiving yards with the Bobcats
Tosh Lupoi and company continue to make things happen for Cal Football. Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports reported that coveted Ohio University Wide Receiver Chase Hendricks has committed to the Golden Bears.
Hendricks is coming off a season where he was 13th in the nation in receiving yards, hauling down 1,037 of them. He totaled six games with over 100 yards, including against Rutgers and West Virginia. In addition to that, Hendricks hauled in three receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown when the Bobcats took on Ohio State.
Cal beat out a haul of power four programs to get Hendricks, who now pairs with Ian Strong and Dorian Thomas. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Damn! Cal will have their best collection of offensive skill position talent since Jared Goff’s final season, and potentially since the height of the Tedford era.
Beautiful, and I’m now convinced if this much offensive talent is being signed through the portal it means there’s a defense plan from Tosh and Co. that will follow in turn.
