I have been going to Cal football games for twenty-five years. I would move my schedules and my family's schedules around so I could make as many home games as possible. I would bring my sons and girlfriends to the games. And meet my old friends for weekends centered around the games. After last Saturday, none of that means anything much to me anymore. I coached Pee Wee and High School football. I enjoyed it, and also readily acknowledge I am no football expert. But I know a coaching shitshow when I see it, and I have seen it once too many times these last few years. Too much for me man, got to give it up. All those great young kids, all that talent, pissed away, by poor archaic, weird, disengaged coaching. This offense is unbearable to watch. Thank you all at the Write for California organization. I have learned so much from the staff and the other contributors about football and college football. Special thanks to RugBear's critiques on the OL play. Good luck and Go Bears!
Well. 2 national TV opportunities in a row. I would have thought when we were 3-1 that this was a great chance for Cal to step up into the 1st tier of the Pac-12 solidly.
