Back to tennis, Cal and San Diego split the first sets in singles 3-3. Of course, Cal will need to win 4 of these matches after dropping the doubles point.
It's all coming down to a 3rd set at No.4. Cal won on No.2 and No.3 in straight sets. Long Beach State won on No.1 (despite Cal saving 5 match points) and No.5 also in straight sets.
