Is there any understanding of the injuries? I am hoping to avoid a Justin Wilcox mysterious "lower body injury" that ends up being season-ending with no explanation.
The Cal Athletic Dept’s Strength and Conditioning program has been a work-in-progress for 40 years. A notoriously conservative medical/training philosophy is also a contributing factor.
Big thing has been the play of TT. He’s steadily been gaining confidence. There are still times when he drives into trouble or without a plan in mind. But there have been more times recently when he’s driven and set up others for open looks.
Great win .... keep it rolling. But a little disappointed being up NEARLY FIFTY with 2 minutes to go and most of our starters were still in the game. The scout team deserves it. Coulda emptied our bench much sooner than we did.
Camden and Bell were basically going through live shooting practice but TT and Dai Dai made things hell for the Morgan State Bears. They could not stay in front of our guards at all, and beating that first line of defense made everything break down
TT looked great! Dorsey looked especially pesky on defense, like he was assuming the Petraitis role.
We really do need to get healthy, though, or we are going to get smoked. We do not have incredible depth and do tend to accumulate enough fouls for that to matter.
Nooooooo. Where did you hear that? That is brutal. He was in sweats last night getting up and high fiving people so I hope not. That would be a shame for his last year of eligibility.
My experience is that pulled muscles take 3-4 weeks and torn cartilage or ligaments result in a pretty quick surgery to avoid atrophy. Achilles are season (or 2) ending. Hope it’s a pull
It IS the best record (11-1) Cal hashad for 65 years!
The last time Cal was 11-1 was in 1959
Congratulations men!!!
So, does that mean that Cal will again be in the NCAA Finals???
Carr is the best PG Cal has had in a very long time in terms of setting up teammates to score. His penetration and passing skills are next level.

I mean, it also would’ve been fun to make 100 with them at 50.
How bout Semetri Carr man

What’s up with Rytus and Pippen? Heard Rytus may be done for the year.
Yep.
Makes a Tournament run much more challenging.

Puts is in a great spot for an NIT run, which is tangible progress in year 3.
Nice work!
