Love Madsen and the direction of the program. Definitely on the right track after the Wyking/Fox disasters.

But to make any type of jump to compete for the Dance, the defense simply has to improve. You can’t continue to give up 90 a game to Power conference teams.

Hypothetically, because of our depth, we should be in a better position to stem these extended lulls. And yet . . .

Agreed, P. And with the depth we should also be able to play better, more intense defense

Can the writers ask Madsen why his team struggles to retain leads?

Need to keep this type of play up in the second half. Don’t want to see another missouri

My prediction: if Oregon loses Tosh gets fired.

You know your team is in deep trouble when the hometown announcer says that a Cal player had an "airball miss" and that the Missouri game was "eerily similar." And Pitt shot 60 percent-plus in the second half. Doh!!!!!!!

Pitt came back well. Cal was up but the game unravels for the Bears. Bad D in the second half. Very bad D.

Great first half. Bad second half
