Unfortunately, you now need $10-$12M to field a legit, Sweet 16 caliber roster. The 4 schools in the Final 4 are all north of $15M. Mediocre players in the portal seeking $3M per….its stupid.

I think I read that the budget for UConn Men's and Women's BB Combined is reported to be $34 million. Not sure how much of that comes from $20 million per school NIL money - much of which goes to FB at most schools. The rest private donors. State of Conneticut apparently provides a state tax credit of up to $500k for donations.

Update: Initial goal reached! New goal is $350,000.
Very impressive, and I think rare, for a D1 coach to put up a significant amount of his own money to help his program succeed! Good on MM
