He’s got some size and can shoot. He was a solid recruit out of HS, and is a bit of an unknown because he redshirted last year. He may turn out to be a project, or enter the portal next year, or simply not be a D1 player….but for a back-end-of-the-rotation guy for the final scholarship, in nearly July, it’s a solid enough pick up.
Don't know him but have faith in Madsen to choose the right guys. Go Bears!

So the phenom (can’t recall name) from a week or two ago who had us on his short list went elsewhere?
If you are referring to Isiah Harwell, he is a 2025 recruit and not in this cycle. At present, I believe he is planning a September decision.

I saw 19--3--3 with 36% from three (in 22-23) season. There was an article that mentions a stretch where he a low percentage but there was a context.
Agreed. He shot 23% in a 13-game EYBL summer session.
