Hoping he does some great things with that degree! Closing the door on an athletic career is always sad but his future is still very bright.

Unfortunately, now the post consists of a talented but raw incoming freshman and Lars Thiemann? Yikes. Not sure we can blame that one on COVID too?

The question is the extent to which Cal can play without a center when Lars sits. In theory this should work, as Cal has a ton of length on the wing, but it’s not a system that Fox has run as far as I’m aware

A more dynamic HC with an imaginative offense could maybe find a way to use an athletic, 6’9” player with length, foot speed & quickness like Kuany down low in the post rather than have him run some ineffective motion beyond the 3-point line.
