The Bears may have lost their opening game this week, but they seem to be securing wins on the recruiting trail. Following the re-commitment of SG Rodney Brown, the Bears have now brought in 3-star big man Devin Curtis, according to Adam Zagoria of Zags Blog.
Let’s welcome 2023 Devin Curtis 6’11 PF/C to Southern California Academy. Curtis is one of the top bigs on the West Coast. He’s versatile with his ability to make 3s, face up in the mid post, & play back to the basket. Rim protector & rebounds. #RamThrough 🐏
The 6-foot-11 center is ranked as the 33rd best center overall and the 34th best recruit in the state of California. The 3-star prospect comes from Northridge, California, and currently plays for Southern California Academy. He played on the AAU circuit for West Coast Elite, which is the former AAU team of Cal player Juhwan Harris-Dyson.
Welcome to Berkeley, Devin!
Devin, you are a sight for sore eyes. And those of us who have been watching Cal basketball the last few years have really sore eyes.
