Mark Madsen and the staff worked the transfer portal hard this past offseason, and has already started to secure recruits for the class of 2023, with what could be a large class for the Bears.
The first commit of the 2024 class is Guard Jeremiah Wilkinson of McEachern in Powder Springs, GA. A former Mississippi State commit, Jeremiah had offers from Mississippi State, Butler, Florida, Ole Miss, Rice, and Saint Louis among others. The 6-foot-3 guard is ranked as the 27th Combo Guard recruit and the 22nd recruit in the state of Georgia.
I have confidence that Coach Madsen understands the Cal environment as well as basketball talent. I look forward to seeing his recruiting class for next year, and how his transfer perform this coming season.
