Don't get me wrong, I don't lay all Cal's problems at Fox's door by any stretch. But the team is floundering right now and I think a coaching change at the end of this season may inject some new energy into the program. It can't get any worse. I don't think any power five coaches would get another year after a year like this one. Fox needs to take a year off with pay, which he is entitled to, and give some thought to his future. Who knows, he may have enough to retire.
Teams like Arizona and Arizona State can have off-nights on the road against Cal and still win. But, Stanford is not so forgiving with home wins over Oregon and Arizona and a road win over Utah.
Arizona really stank it up losing to Stanford. They couldn't hit anything. I think Cal has three more win possibilities with the Washington teams at home in two weeks and maybe Oregon State for their first road win the last game of the season. They'll probably lose to Washington, Washington St. or Stanford in the Pac-12 Tournament first-round play-in on a neutral court and, then, it's probably the last we'll see of Fox unless Knowlton is really, really broke.
Cal looks even with ASU. And they have a chance ot go to the dance. How abut that. If we play decent we can win this game. If we hadn't pllay slow down for several games we probably could have won a few of them.
What happened ot all of continuous trash talking of Fox. If there's one thing Cal is good at it is running down their basketball coach.
ASU is capable of throwing in a stinker every now and then, and Cal is capable of shooting 60% from the field, so we’ll see…would love to see another good night from Sam.

A tough OT loss.
Kids battled.
The lineup they had on the floor for most of the 2H and into OT is solid.
Joel-Clayton-Bowser-Alajiki-Newell.
Get Lars out of there, use KK off the bench. Lars as the focal point of the Fox offense is a recipe for a 28 loss season.
Close until the end. Tied at 57. Asu ball with 35 seconds. The Bear never quits!!
Oh who would’ve thought the offense would look good if you go small ball
ASU is 4-29 shooting in the second half with less than 3 minutes. Still up by 1
It's competitive still with 12 minutes legt

8 and counting…
