Watch the on-ball defense tonight. Poly likes to push the ball up the court quickly and shoot ALOT from long range. They are horrible on defense and have no interior game.
That was fun and I saw enough cohesive strategy to be hopeful going forward. Our two bigs are solid defenders and rebounders. Love Preteitis and his hustle. Omot is an all around great guy who will improve. Blacksher is solid. We’ve got depth. Andre has to learn when to drive as he consistently drives into double teams and gets stymied. 2-0 beats 0-2! Go Bears!
It’s nice to able to be working your shit out and still win convincingly. That should be a given against this competition, but as we’ve experienced the past several years, it hasn’t been. I’ll for sure take it.
Like the Bears' ability to play lockdown defense. I think we still have work to do on rebounds and offense, but we're in good shape considering the roster turnover. This team will have a completely different identity then last year's.
Bears looked really disjointed initially but the bevy of talented playmakers and solid defenders is impressive in stopping the Stangs’ run then forging ahead. Dort is a handful underneath. Wow the Bears sure appear deep.

Their many fouls suggest what you said about bad D.
Note that the Cal Women beat Idaho State 88-36 - which is the kind of result you like to see, blowing out a team we're expected to blow out

There are definitely some pieces, depth, and clear upside. Newellbany and I were mapping out a not-too unrealistic journey to the bubble….
*Sweep Haas non-cons (7 wins)
*Win at least 1 of: @Vandy, @USC, or @Mizzou. (1 win…8-2??)
*Beat SDSU in San Jose (1 signature win - 9-2)
*9-11 in ACC play at least (18-13)
*1 win in ACC tourney (19-14).
Probably doesn’t get it done, but an attainable goal nonetheless…
Nice W.
This team is deep and experienced. Should continue to grow. I’m gonna buy a mini-plan!
Petraitis flying around real physical.
Great to see. Solid glue guy.
Great tribute to Bill Walton.
Cal Men’s basketball team is 2-0 with a +31 point differential.
Last time they met those benchmarks was 2016-2017. They finished 21-13

Not incredibly impressed with Andrei in this role.

BTW- ACCNX is included in YOUTUBE TV. Let me know if you need to know the secret stations of the Cross to get to it.
Seven point lead....go Bears
Petraitis playing with more energy today. Nice.
Stoja totally out of control
Is that Hyder's first time scoring at Haas
