Mark Fox the man who loves to call timeouts after we score just led his team to the Wolves by not calling a TO, 11-0 run and we are down 10. This is sooooooooooooo bad.
Ex Cal player and coach now has his Missouri Tigers at 16 - 5 after tonight. Too bad we couldn't snag him as our coach this season (first year at Missouri).
So tell me how many players each team in the Pac 12 has injuries. And since Cal has three that could start how many injured players on each of those teams would start.
I thought Oregon State and Stanford were Cal's best chances to win but they lost them both by a lot. Any more wins coming? Would have to be a big upset.
How do you win by 20 at home and lose by 31 on the road to the same team? Cal's performance tonight was one of worst college basketball performances I've ever seen -- maybe the worst. If Stanford had left their starters in the score would have been a lot worse. Cal can't get open and when they do they miss consistently.
St. Mary's wins by one after a fadeaway by Mahaney with .5 seconds left. I'm telling you -- he will be on the national all freshman team. He is a unique basketball talent. Again, I've watched him play a lot in high school, but never in person.
It looked for a while that Cal would get more than doubled up on the score. Not only did that not happen, the Bears broke 45 on the scoreboard. Comparing with the results from the first game, is it possible Stanford improved that much? Or Cal regressed that much? I've been to both Haas & Maples, and there isn't that much of a home court advantage at either onr.
Can't find Cal's lowest scoring game. I did read the NCAA put in a shot clock aroudn 1975, starting at 45 seconds and later lowered to 35 and then 30. Would not be fair to count a Cal game prior to the shot clock being put in.
Last time we had a coach get fired everyone left now fox is gonna get fired and the new coach is gonna get stuck with the same roster most of these kids won’t have anywhere to go
My offer was conditional and I don't think the conditoin will be met. Still hoping someone shows me how many D1 men's basketball coaches have been fired this season. Should be easiy under five and probably under three. I can't stand our offense. I do feel Cal has a decent amount of talent with no injuries and could be a .500 team if all eligible players could play.
New topic. Watch out for St. Mary's in the post season. Mahaney is doing very well. Great playmaker and shooter. Top scorer and shooting 43% from three. While checking his stats I noticed St. Mary's, 18 - 4, is now leading BYU (about four wins behind St Mary's. Think the game is at the end of the first half. It's on ESPN2, which I'm going to watch after the Cal game. Haven't seen Mahaney play since watching his videos from his high school days. I call him Pistol Aidan Mahaney. If he wants he can be a showman. If there is a best frosh team, he may make it.

Offensively we are bad. No purpose with ball movement, settling for threes and staying on the perimeter.
Defense has also been bad. Off ball rotations have been asinine so far. How we are only down 1 I have no idea.
I will leave early, I’m getting tempted.
Holy hell this is such a bad game. Why the hell did I pay $30 for this. I should know better by now.
7:15 left, Stanford 62 Cal 33. I have departed Maples Pavilion
Devin Askew probably not playing. Sick.
Behind enemy lines at Maples Pavilion today. We are about to find out if I’m worth any luck
Holy fuck Harrison Ingram just annihilated, sonned, gave birth to ND Okafor you name it. If that’s not sports center top play i don’t know what it is.
Yes this is an appropriate reaction.
We got our obligatory 20 points at half! A point a minute! 31-20

Cal is in danger of having it's lowest scoring game in seventy or so years. If that happens I will join the Fire Fox movement.
Mark Fox should never coach again…ever.
He’s putrid.

My prediction for this game. Stanford will win in a

The slow burn on foxes dome has turned into a fire. Losing causes hair loss.

Embarrassed for the players, man. Poor kids…just a total failure of leadership.

I saw Troy Taylor going into the game.

We can get to 40 during garbage time (as Stanford puts in the Scout team)

Omg 70-34.
What happened?
I guess the team has mentally checked out.

Listening to the radio broadcast (don’t have espnu).
I’m starting to think the excessive number of the “Cal Hope” program ads are *specifically* targeted to Cal basketball fans.
Maybe we should eliminate all but club and intramural sports at Cal. 20 percent shooting for the halg
Sad. Furd up 31-20 at Half. Not looking promising.
Can we get to 20 by half?
Edited to add: yea!
Ruroh....

Just compare how far out Cal has to shoot compared to Stanford. A huge difference. Does Cal have any plays? I don't think so.
Watched the replay of the Water Polo Natty this am, and those guys have game. I bet they could score in the paint.
Welp, ESPN gives Furd 91% chance to win.
