0-7 with loss to Clemson…

What are we even doing here, Jim?

Another loss, 0-6.

Rather painful

More of the same. Not much to say.

Roberson with a deep 3…was it a prayer that was answered, or signs of things to come?

Commentator (I think it’s Steve Lappas) just said Cal struggling to score in the half court…he clearly hasn’t watched a Cal game in 6 years.

“Cal’s trying their best. They just don’t have guys that can score.”

You can thank Mark Fox for that.

There’s our boy, throwing a tantrum on the sideline!

Great half time adjustment by Mark Fox, per usual.

I love listening to commentators that are unfamiliar with Cal broadcast their games…competent basketball minds talking about a team that has no one that can score.

That’s a problem in year 4.

Fox and Wilcox are two coaches in over their heads.

Year 6 under Wilcox and we are 4-8.

Year 4 under Fox and we might win 5 games.

Two bad coaches that say all the right things at Cal otherwise they would have been fired a season ago.

It’s almost like our athletic director is a moron.

Talk about being in over his head. There’s no chance Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the Air Force Academy could have prepared him for the challenges he would face at Cal.

Absolutely true…I guess it’s to be expected when the Chancellor of the University goes before the Board of Regents and laments the changing landscape of collegiate athletics. Cal can’t helped but be passed by.

The similarities between Fox and Wilcox are striking…both are stubborn, defense-first coaches that seem to care about their players but struggle mightily to score in a Conference that places an absolute premium on offense. If you want players that stay out of jail and graduate, then they are your guys…if you want to have winning programs that generate revenue for the school, well…..
