My first game since the end of the Cuonzo era. Very small, quiet crowd. About the size of a women's game with less enthusiasm. For the first 15 minutes or so I thought Madsen had worked a miracle as the team could do no wrong. Then for a long stretch they could do no right. Won it largely because San Diego exhausted itself coming from so far behind. Big news is the Bears exceeded last year's win total. Better days ahead.
Yeah, definitely a Jekyll and Hyde team today. If the team can execute the way they did for the first 15 minutes for a whole game, it'll be a pretty exciting last season of PAC 12 hoops

Kinda hard to draw a big crowd at 2pm on a Wednesday when students aren't on campus
Of course.
Wonder why they scheduled it for the afternoon. The women's game tomorrow is also at 2:00.
Probably because it's against UCSD.
A W. The first 10 minutes had me expecting/wanting more
Wow. They just squeaked out of it.
Rebounding has been atrocious today
Okay, how did they go from being 26 up to this?
Devin Askew is brutal.
This is what I thought I’d see at the beginning of the year, Go Bears
No comments yet? Cal is up 25-6 with 12 minutes to play in the first half.
umm, man, this team is really struggling! 2nd half there's NO offensive movement and crazy number of 2nd chances by UCSD.
