What a spectacular game. I've played and watched a lot of water polo in my life, and that was just epic. With high-scoring Max Casabella not having a typical game, Papa put the team on his back in every way imaginable. Performed the entire repertoire of shots from the hole, then added a pretty one from the perimeter. And Valera -- 4 for 8 shooting?? Are you kidding?
I've alluded to it before, but now let me be crystal clear: this is THE best ticket for athletics at Cal right now. Every single home game was a salve for the embarrassment of football, topped off with a thriller of a National Championship, at home. If you haven't been yet...well, I just don't know what to say.
Our student athletes deserve better. Not only do they have to overcome the classroom standards, substandard nil, living in a metro area, and economy Alaska airlines flights to games but they have to overcome their own coaches and athletic administration that isn’t worth a half eaten bag of tacis.
Absolutely disgraceful leadership of what was once a great / the greatest university.
You sit in an area with zero professional sports and somehow you manage to lose all fans and alienate your alumni base, have notable alums trashing the program, the likes of Jon Wilner playing pile on and what do you clowns do???
Oh and about to sit idle while a true blue and gold blood goes to coach the furdies while we play clown games with a bunch of duck clowns running our fb program.
Seriously regents! If you’re reading this. Do your fucking jobs!
I got home and tuned in to the game. Cal was down 11-8 near the end of the third period. I can't see the TV from my kitchen and have a hard time following the game anyway so went about my business. Great determination by the team and pleasantly surprised to see this result. Go Champion Bears!

Tommy Trojan couldn't lead his horse to water.
That was a HELLUVA comeback!!! Great job, Bears!
Looking forward to hearing more about what must have been a thrilling, exciting, heart rending game!

How a Yale liberal arts Uni she pimp still has a job after overseeing these folks, the strike, the budget, among many other things is beyond me.
Her tenure is downright despicable
