USA (2-0): Valerie Arioto registered Team USA Eagles’ first hit of the tournament in ther 2-0 win over Italy. The Cal legend again provided the offense in USA’s 1-0 win over Canada.

Women’s Soccer

USA (0-1): Alex Morgan and USWNT lost 3-0 to Sweden.

Women’s Rowing

Kara Kohler (USA) was strong in her singles sculls heat, to advance directly to the A-Final.

Jack Cleary and his Australian crew had also advanced directly to the A-Final in men’s quad sculls by placing second.
