Cal hosted its Pro Day for the 2022 draft, with arguably its largest number of players in some time. The Bears had 12 players from the 2021 team and one addition in Lone Toailoa who last played for the Bears in 2019. QB Chase Garbers, RB Marcel Dancy, TE Jake Tonges, WR Trevon Clark, WR Kekoa Crawford, DL Luc Bequette, OLB Cam Goode, OLB Marquez Bimage, LB Kuony Deng, DB Elijah Hicks and DB Josh Drayden all participated in at least some aspect of Pro Day. Notably, DB Elijah Hicks said he had a Jones fracture in his right foot after the first practice of the Shrine Bowl. He did not participate in any of the drills, but was there for his teammates.
Hear from the guys and check out some of the highlighted numbers from the workouts. We can’t wait to hear their name called when the 2022 NFL Draft starts on April 28th.
Go Bears! Sure wish them all well for getting drafted or signing on to a club. Bears have such a great and illustrious history of top NFL players. Who among these will be next? Hard to say.
