Whatever works out best for Coach Thompson, son and family. This is a move any one of us would make in a heartbeat if it was our kid's health on the line.

I will accept this move only if Gould comes back w

My thoughts exactly, but I don't think he'd leave the Rams RB coach position to come back to Cal.

I hope the Rams fire him, but Kyren was so good this year. Gould is amazing

There seems to be so much love for him and his family. Let whatever path is destined for him be a path towards helping his son. My old. old boss had a child with epilepsy and over time it went away, and she is doing amazing as a Jr in College. Let the best outcome for the family come to be.

Now I have to worry about the Spring Portal

Wait, there’s a SPRING portal too??? Dammit….

Wilcox needs to fill the position with another Oregon alum or else we might lose all the running backs in the portal.

I absolutely respect the move if it's for his family. But I will say that the Bay Area has major pediatric academic medical centers that specialize in epilepsy. I don't know the specifics of his child's history and Lurie Children's is fantastic. But I wouldn't consider it a world above Packard (Stanford) or UCSF.

I'm sure coach has done a TON of meticulous research and has met with a number of professionals through his charity work. But I always caution people to not expect outcomes to be drastically different above a certain level (with the main exception being availability of specific medical procedures). Football coaching is already unpredictable in terms of unexpected moves.
