Big news! With this blowout of Stanfurd, Cal is no longer the second-worst P6 team in the country! Our NET skyrocketed from 288 to 250, putting us just ahead of South Carolina (253) and just behind Georgetown (249) and Florida State (245). In other words, we've temporarily climbed out of historically bad territory into standard bottom of the barrel company.
Will this be enough to extend Mark Fox? Only time will tell!
Just finished reading the paper version of the WaPo. They only had three college men's BB box scores shown but Cal is one of them. The win must be big news.
My only complaint is that Fox put the brakes on with five minutes to go. He should’ve let them keep pushing it & get to 100. No one in the PAC-12 reading that headline tomorrow morning would’ve believed it.
Thanks Rick for the killer recap!! Great game - probably the best Cal effort of the Mark Fox era.
Standings: Cal now in 8th place in the conference.
Time to extend Fox's contract before someone else grabs him!
fun to be in the Haas for that amazing game. reminded me of the game when cal blew UCLA out of the building with Crabbe & Co

Well done. Go Bears!
Even the ESPN Ocho announcers were remarking how the Bears have rallied and not given in to despair.
Awesome game.
Let's keep it up!
It’s still early, but can we still make a run at the pac12 tourney?
There's no way Fox doesn't get an extension now, right?
A much-needed victory. Beating Furd always makes my day
The only bright spot in the unimaginable depths of Mark Fox's tenure is his winning record over the Lobsterbacks

Happy for the team, worried these wins might prolong the Mark Fox failure.
They absolutely will.
The program is going nowhere, yet Knowlton is just itching to extend him because it’s all COVID’s fault.
Washington is next. Go Bears!
Furd is bad and we got hot. Our ceiling is better than I expected. Glad for the win and for Furd's misfortune.
These teams and their records sounds like the Big Game......and that's NOT a compliment.... : )
