Before ND made a 3 in the waning minutes, Ames had to rush a shot when the clock operator only gave Cal a 20-second shot clock after a change of possession. (At 4:51, Imes threw the ball away. At 4:32, Ames, who was probably wondering why the clock was about to expire, missed a desperate 3, leading to a quick 3 the other way). It was maddening. ND deserved the loss for that sequence alone.
Cal fans: Forgive my earlier pessimism when I posted that we can never beat Notre Dame in sports. We were down by nine with a few minutes left and it wasn't looking good so I turned off the tv. I will never do that again!!!! GO BEARS!!!!!!
No quit in this squad and I love that, but these multiple minutes-long scoreless streaks every game gotta end. Offense devolves into total grabass on the perimeter way too easily and the shot selection goes to hell.

From the "immaculate off sides" call in the 2022 football game to tonight's exercise in futility, Cal just can't seem to find a way to beat Notre Dame, even when we are favored (like tonight)! If we have beaten them in a sport recently, then please let me know.

I was telling my friends about being at the Cobb game. But not exactly the same because that was a ranked Zona team. This is a lower half of conference ND team.
