Cal v. Southern Methodist College Football 2025 Kick-Off Time Announced
The Cal v. SMU college football game will be an evening game
The California Golden Bears’ (6-5, 3-4 ACC) game against the Southern Methodist Mustangs (8-3, 6-1 ACC) will kick off on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at 5 p.m. Pacific, according to announcements from Cal Athletics and the Atlantic Coast Conference early Sunday morning.
The Cal v. SMU college football game will air on ESPN2.
Next weekend’s match-up between Cal and SMU will be the third in the series. The California Golden Bears have never beat the Southern Methodist Mustangs, losing 6-38 in Dallas on Nov. 30, 2024, and suffering a 6-13 defeat in the first meeting on Sept. 21, 1957, at home in Berkeley, Calif.
The only reason to watch this game is if Wilcox isn’t coaching it. If Wilcox is our coach I’ll completely ignore this game and any Cal game that Wilcox is the head coach
