Until UCLA, Cal had shown a disturbing inability to get over the hump against good P4 programs.
I was hoping to get either UCLA OR Utah...now that the potential exists to get both, I am back to the nervous times of Braun/Monty/Cuonzo, when every game seemed like you were playing for your Tournament lives.
Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful problem to have, especially after the past decade of incompetence...unfortunately though it was better for my stomach and nerves knowing we were still so far away.
This one is huge for Cal’s postseason chances…and dare I say Tournament Resume.
