Was it necessary to bash women's basketball and put your opinion of that's why you like the men's game better in the article? You couldn't just focus on the team that far more successful this season then their male counterparts?
I'm old enough to remember the 85-86 season. I can also remember being shocked when the lowly Furdies once took us into overtime before we prevailed. Old Dominion were defending national champs in '86.

The absurdly horrific 10-walk and 3-second call against Cal (and there were a few similarly egregious calls against the WF, including a travel call on a player standing and dribbling the ball)
I’ve never witnessed anything like that.
If refs continue to call games like this, it will hurt WBB.
ACC refs have a whole new "interpretation" of WBB basketball rules as they pertain to turnovers. And the inconsistencies have been happening at both home and away games. Frustrating.
