Smith was indeed solid in goal!!! And the crowd was awesome, including Kuony Deng and Kai Millner. While I was rooting for Santa Clara, Cal's freshman class was super impressive, many of whom started the game. The future looks very bright for Women's soccer!!!!
Solid game by Cal with a game winning (OK tie) save in the last minute. Smith's save was a tough one, running backward with a punch over the crossbar. I watched that shot several times and the player for SC is very talented, her shot was spot on for a goal. Alas it wasn't to be for her.
