Get your tickets now for next week's game against Stanford!!! This team deserves better support from alums, students and members of the Bay Area community who enjoy women's college basketball. They play hard and are fun to watch.

See you at Haas next Friday night (12/13) at 7 pm!!

Go Bears!!!

Maybe the most impressive win of the Charmin era and she's got a lot of doubters feeling like she can lead us to the promised land. This team can overcome obstacles, last night it was Lulu's poor shooting (a rarity) and Michelle's foul trouble (nothing new). Charmin did a really good job with match ups, particularly in regards to Noble, as you illustrated.

The only downer last night was attendance. I hope people start coming out.

One correction: the Fordham game is the first of Cal's tourney and it will be followed by a game versus the Xavier/Temple winner so there are four more non conference games.

Seeing a Cal defense suffocate a "superior" opponent like a boa constrictor brings me such joy. Every court should be Bear Territory.

WAHOOO

this is a fun team to root for, even with Lulu's quiet night tonight I loved that others picked it up and took them home!

You didn't mention Krimili's Cristal contribution to the win. It's disappointing how few people attend the games. This year's edition of the Bears are thoroughly enjoyable.

Someone needs to build me a teleporter to Haas.

The women's team is not only exciting, seating close to the floor is readily available, I wish more students would attend, but then, we have a similar problem with the men's attendance unless the games are with Stanford, or a major opponent. The Alabama game should have attracted a much larger crowd for a team ranked No. 19 in the nation and was previously undefeated.

What was the score of the game? Read and twice reread the report and am not finding that.

As always, great coverage

When down 12 in the first half it looked like Alabama would cruise to a win, but Bears dug in and cut that in half at the break

Coming out of halftime Alabama resumed their offensive assault but Cal again roared back and the game looked like two heavyweights going back and forth

Then in crunch time Michelle and Noble entered and shut down their two players who scored all night

But I’d add our guards also shutdown their two shooters all game
