Although I was lucky enough to see Coach at the Valkyries game (from a distance, watching her bang the drum!), I haven't had occasion to listen to her talk before. Very articulate and thoughtful.
I think Coach said in an August zoom call that the team is getting a new locker room by January whether they have the money now or not. It may be in phases - video, dressing, treatment, meeting. Without Abigor, Coach Smith is going to need some lights out shooting and design lots of plays to get those shots. In a prior call Coach highlighted that Walker should be good at the mainstay of lobs into the post - so maybe Abigor won't be missed as much, but there is definite concern.
Charmin does so much for this program and the community. It was great she had a breakthrough season last year and hope she can work some magic this upcoming season. Losing Gabby is a heartbreak as she showed a ton of talent and potential, plus was a really positive force in the locker room. We will be thin in the front court, so yeah, hopefully we can make up for it in other ways.

I think it’s going to be fun to watch Lulu and Puff this season

Gabrielle Abigor medically retired, there'll be an official announcement soon.
