Nice to see a lot of fans at Haas today. Will be even bigger crowds for the next homestead with students back in town. Great three quarters of basketball by the Bears and just hung on in the fourth. So many weapons, which are needed given the strength of the conference and the continued incompetence of the refs.
Good thing we hung on. I just read that Pitt was down by 31 at half to SMU. Then Pitt outscored them 28-0 in the third quarter and ended up winning by 13.
Gotta take issue with the halftime show's "Ivory's 5 Contenders" list. NC State and FSU are 4 and 5; Cal beat one and is TROUNCING another, but Cal's not on the list........ Okay, inaugural season....get used to us.
I think that was recorded before the NC State game result. From what I recall in the halftime punditry segment Ivory is wearing the same outfit she was a few days ago, so probably just didn’t record a new one.
I watched the 2nd and 3rd quarters and oh is this is such a damn fun team to watch and root for! Go Bears!
