One of those games where little things conspired to make it closer than you'd expect. Syracuse shooting 16/17 from the line and 5/11 from 3 while Cal was 5-19 from 3 with decent looks tells much of the story.
Thankfully Cal shot 20/36 from 2 while Syracuse was 19/53, thus allowing Cal to overcome free throw/3 point shooting variance.
Didn't get to watch this one but saw it was close. Glad to see us get some shine from Sir Charles. This is an excellent team (with some flaws) that can beat anyone under the right circumstances. Coach Smith and her players deserve all the flowers.

Keeping their TOs to a manageable number was good to see. In the postseason, it’ll be tough to win games with 20+ TOs.
