7-3 Trojans going to the final quarter. Cal still has a chance but zero margin for error in the final 8 minutes of regulation.

USC is ahead 4-2 at the half. Cal had a chance to tie with a minute before the half but Emma Wright's 2nd penalty shot attempt was saved. Trojans immediately scored seconds later to push the lead to 2.
