Calgorithm on 'College GameDay' Eve

Calgorithm and time, two things that will march on.

Getting to host College GameDay is so far the apex of the season for Cal football and the community surrounding it. I don’t think we’ll reach these heights for a long long time.

Commemorating this week the Calgorithm on Twitter/X has been at it’s most productive selves. Let’s do a quick rundown of some of the creations!

On GameDay’s Eve we need to prepare the general public for the presence of our Dark Lord Ǭ̶̗̺͎̮̙̪̟̰͉̅̔̓̑̃̎̽̀̚S̷̠͔̋K̶̪̲̙̻̐͋̋̉́Ȉ̷͈͍͖̺̳̦͚ͅ (by @Dalmcm)

We are all simply aligning ourselves around our Dark Lord’s Machinations. “BART…then Zack Follett…now Marshawn on live television…the stars and planets are aligning…it’s almost time.” (by @RexVolcano)

And recall that on GameDay’s Eve we need to leave treats to the greatest guest GameDay has and will ever have: Marshawn Lynch (@CalMicMen)

There is already a movement to have him arrive in the most Marshawn Style: on the golf cart (@HaasOfOtt)

Of course, after the loss against FSU some folks had Cal written-off for hosting gameday. Alas “They Wrote us off but we didn’t write back” - @CalVsTheWor1d

This game had a plethora of nicknames bandied around, but the one that stuck around was amplified by Kevin Clark.
