Taking a step back, while the day to day tick tock has been a blast to watch (I've even gone back on X...gulp), what has me even more excited is the big picture being drawn. We are ranked about #10 in the 24/7 portal rankings ( it changes hourly), and number 1 in the ACC. These ranking are not the result of high volume, but rather, the high quality of the players. To do this while our head coach is also in the natty race is astounding. Lots more to come no doubt, but so far my wildest expectations have been exceeded. Go Bears Forever baby!

The On3 metrics are not of a concern as they use a different scoring system, looking at both out going and in coming, so its inevitable that we will rank lower given the high raw number of outgoing players. But few are of high quality, so it does not concern me. Bottom line, we are on an effing roll.
The portal so far is looking good for Cal. However, I'd like to see more DB's and O and D linemen come in. Also, PLEASE offer Uluave enough money to keep him.
Jury is out for that one. Kendrick Raphael was a happy surprise. Mohammed from UW has great tape and a top rated portal target, but so was Ott last year…

I think the difference in 2026 is a pretty clear RB1, then RB 2a, 2b, 2c
