Crazy the schools Carter Vargas is also being offered by. I watched quite a few Davis games this last year (Go Ags) and was impressed, but didn't think he would garner offers from the likes of Oregon or LSU.

That being said, need more OL

And if a few of the current players that have entered the portal choose to return that would be good.

Cade and Raphael are the only one I care about. And really, only Cade meaningfully moves the needle on our team.

Looks like it’s BYU, Texas or a return to Cal.

Yes to more OL and also DL. Take a page out of teams that are able to rotate DL and get pressure rushing mainly 4 with a few blitzes sprinkled in.

well fuck me, it looks like we're actually gonna land him

Barksdale is off the board; he's joining Chesney at UCLA

Plenty of DBs still in the portal, so ideally we'll land at least 2 CBs and a S

Hope we bring in some more OL talent

Carter must be a smart dude. Out of HS he had offers from Princton, Penn, Columbia..

I like that. A certain recent Heisman winner had similar offers

I am once again asking for your 4 star linemen

I always root for Oregon to lose, but I want Tosh to leave that place posthaste. Go Hoosiers! I can't help but think there are some people coming with him (players? OL coach perhaps?). We shall see.

Amidst the Carter Vargas hubbub, on3 is showing the other visiting RB, Ashten Emory, as a hard commit to Cal as of today. Haven't seen anything confirming it yet, but could be looking at 3 good RB pickups.

Just watched his video. Quick, finds the openings, runs with power. Doesn’t have the top end speed of Ott, but who does, and Ott didn’t hit the hole and attack like this guy. He invites contact. Great addition in my humble O

Any linebackers?

This is encouraging. Good prospects looking or actually committing to Cal. Keep them coming.

SUNSHINE PUMP: Cal is going to be so good that we'll be leaving the Gameday stage set up for their convenience.

Agreed. Frankly, about time Cal stepped up to use its great academic reputation to combine with the same type of commitment to athletics to create the all around monster we can and will be. Hats off again to Chancellor Lyons….we finally got a true blue Cal Bear who actually enjoys (and supports) intercollegiate sports. I was a baseball player. I believe this developing phenomenon will greatly help all sports at Cal to get the respect and support all sports deserve. And MAYBE even the rest of the country will come to know and recognize that Cal and Berkeley are one and the same. What a revelation that will be for all the world to see. Then maybe they will understand why any Cal person with a Cal hat (or whatever) on will be greeted with a “Go Bears” by any other Cal person at any airport or on any street in the world. Let’s make sure that never changes……I often have the pleasure of that experience and I consider it a secret pleasure!!!!

One of my friends/colleagues was a pitcher for the team some years back. Feels so good to represent! I've gotten a Go Bears in every continent but Antarctica.

Marshawn is our greatest asset because he's THE ultimate brand ambassador. He had an interview where he said he wore glasses in high school so that his teachers would give him higher grades because he looked so studious. Berkeley meets Cal.

Carter Vargas is likely the next commit - On3 currently has a 100% prediction for Cal
