It seems to me Justin Wilcox doesn't show any passion when the camera happens to be on him. It is not just the reality that We have him for some years without a some kind of buyout. The Bears cannot draw a good amount of 4 or possibly 5 star players. Yes, we cannot compete for that NIL player. But, the true sadness will be when the handful of good players decide to enter the transfer portal after they play a year or 2 at Cal to get either their share of the pie or go to a program that will use their ability better for a chance to go to the NFL is they so desired. This is not just purgatory it can be Hell. I can see a player like Mendoza leave if his progress continues to grow in the next year or 2.
